The striking layering of rammed earth construction celebrates the reason why people gather at this incredible place with its use of local sand and aggregate material, well known as one of the top ten beaches of the world. This was the first application of modern rammed earth in Manitoba, with construction techniques and material application scrutinized ensuring it was suitable for our variable climate.

Layers of locally sourced sand express the construction sequence of the rammed earth wall. Masonry construction provides a robust and durable surface for other walls incorporating service elements.
