We are proud to announce the official retirement of Dan Wolfrom, our Company founder and namesake as of May 1, 2023. Dan has contributed significantly to the engineering profession both locally and nationally over his 40 year career, providing a crucial role in the development of skylines and communities across Canada. Dan has always been revered for his adept and often pioneering understanding of  materiality, structural systems, and construction methods. If you speak to Architects and mention Dan, he is known as the Architect's Engineer, with a keen sense of design and scale. In conversation with Contractors, Dan is known as the Contractor's Engineer, with a fundamental understanding of economy and constructability. His legacy at Wolfrom is not only his profound catalogue of interesting and beautiful built works, but the knowledge, methodologies, and guiding design principles passed along to his staff and colleagues. From all of us, Thank you Dan for all of your hard work and mentoring, have a wonderful retirement as you get out and enjoy the slopes and rivers!
